"Love is not changed by Death, And nothing is lost
and all in the end is harvest."

Edith Sitwell

I live with my husband and two dogs in the Worcestershire countryside, just outside Malvern.

My career background is office-based, but like many people I have experienced pain and loss. Through this, I have grown and have been able to utilise my knowledge, understanding, learning and wisdom within other areas of my life.

The seed was planted to train as an independent funeral celebrant after the deaths of my husband and more recently, my father - both of whom had civil funeral ceremonies.

I have trained and have qualified with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, which is aligned to the International College of Celebrancy - UK Division. I adhere to The UK College of Celebrancy's Code of Ethics and Conduct and endorse personal Best Practice and Continuous Improvement.

I am a member of 'Dying Matters' – a coalition of 15,000 members who strive to change public attitudes and behaviours towards death, dying and bereavement.

Additionally, I have enhanced DSB clearance (Disclosure and Barring Service), formerly known as CRB.
